Job Summary and Requirements

This competition is to fill a permanent position, working 75 hours bi-weekly.

The opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented individual to join our Loans and Grants team.

Reporting to the Manager, Loans and Grants, you will support YHC’s vision by providing effective delivery and ongoing administration of YHC’s loans & grants programs.

Essential Qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet each of the following qualifications. Please note, selection for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.

Diploma or degree in business administration, finance, economics or a related field
Demonstrated experience working with budgets and analyzing financial data
Experience evaluating loan and/or grant applications for funding approvals
Recent experience administering and monitoring approved loans and/or grants projects
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and financial/accounting databases
Experience working in the mortgage lending, banking, or real estate industry would be an asset
Experience with real estate lending best practices and principles would be an asset
Experience with general underwriting practices, policies, and standards would be an asset

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Conditions of employment:
Valid class 5 driver’s licence
Notary public must be obtained within 6 months of hire
