Reporting to the Sr. Program Manager, the Research Analyst is responsible for coordinating, conducting research and inspections on policing and law enforcement service delivery including operations, policies, programs and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in related area (e.g. criminology, social sciences, statistics, political science, law, public administration) and one year of *related work experience; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in related area (as above) and three years of *related work experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of related experience, education and/or training may be considered.
  • Related work experience includes:
  • Experience utilizing research methodologies, preferably related to the justice system.
  • Experience working on policy, evaluation, or research projects of significant size, complexity and importance.

Preference may be given to candidates with:

  • Experience managing and conducting analysis using large data set.
  • Experience working with stakeholder organizations, agencies or senior management.
  • Experience preparing written documents for government use or briefing senior executive.

There is currently a temporary opportunity available until December 31, 2023, which may be extended or become permanent.
