Role Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Distribution, the Project Coordinator & WMS Specialist is responsible for the coordination of improvement projects across the distribution network. The candidate will be assisting the DC leadership team with the roll out of new initiatives while also seeking new ways to improve the day-to-day efforts and efficiency of the Distribution Centre.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work with DC operations managers to identify, evaluate and prioritize improvement related to Distribution and e-fulfillment operations;
  • Support distribution and e-fulfillment operations improvement projects;
  • Develop training documentation and conduct training as needed;
  • Maintain and update the DC team training documentation platform;
  • Partner with DC team to ensure the field leaders are kept informed of ongoing initiatives (process improvements, new system features, etc.).

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • DEC in Industrial Engineering or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field;
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in leading change and process improvement projects (in a distribution centre environment preferred);
  • Knowledge of IT system testing and documentation (Warehouse Management Systems an asset);
  • Skilled in Microsoft and Google environments;
  • Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken;
  • Ability to multitask while prioritizing key business objectives;
  • Proactive, self-motivated and strong team player;
  • Collaboration and teamwork;
  • Ability to resolve problems;
  • Sense of duty (accountability);
  • Excellent communication skills.
