Wage: $19.50 per hour

Job Description:

The booking agent is responsible for providing professional and efficient service to our guests regarding ticket sales and general information both in person and via the telephone. The agent will be required to deal with customer inquiries and complaints, process transactions and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ticket selling (including cash/debit/credit transactions and cash out procedures)
  • Retail selling (including cash/debit/credit transactions and cash out procedures)
  • Accommodation & Activity booking – working between customers and 3rd party vendors to book excursions and accommodations
  • Telephones - includes operating the main resort switchboard, radio/fax/email communications for Experience Lake Louise in relation to ski resort sales and 3rd party bookings
  • Cleaning of all Experience Lake Louise areas
  • Provide quotes for room rates and make reservations for Skoki – backcountry lodge

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Dealing in a professional manner with customer enquiries, complaints and comments
  • Continued commitment to high standards of service, exceeding Customer expectations and leading by example
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
  • Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of guests and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
  • Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel, Outlook and Internet
  • Previous customer service experience an asset
  • Strong knowledge of the Lake Louise Resort and surrounding area an asset
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Switchboard experience an asset
  • Strong, professional phone manner
  • Experience using the booking system RoomMaster is an asset
