New Job Aquatics Co-Ordinator In Nova Scotia

The Aquatics Coordinator will: Oversee daily pool operation, assist the General Manager & Recreation Director in the training and supervision of all necessary personnel to deliver each program component.

They will coordinate the lifeguard rotation schedule to increase efficiency and cleanliness of aquatics facilities. They will ensureproper program delivery, keep record of aquatics staff certifications, ensure all staff maintain current certifications, maintain records of attendance, and monitor payments for each program participant. They will maintain relationships with parents and program participants, oversee birthday party lead and assistants.

Responsible for filling in gaps in lifeguard and swim instructor schedule, follow systems, practices, and training related risk management and safety of participants and staff, and follow accident report procedures and policies.

In order to keep an outdoor pool running we must have high quality staff that value community needs while gaining valuable experience. This is a safe controlled environment to learn to swim and our vision of St. Margaret’s Centre is to make swimming lessons affordable as we provide group lessons, as well as private for those children needing one-on-one instruction.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: $19.00 per hour

• Weekend availability
