The opportunity…

The HR Business Partners unit of the PSC operates as a shared service, providing strategic and client-focused HR management services to the Executive Council Office, French Language Services Directorate, Yukon Liquor Corporation & Lotteries Yukon, Public Service Commission, the Commissioner’s Office and Cabinet Office.

This is a high volume and fast-paced position with competing priorities across office management, data management, financial functions, scheduling, office event coordination, regular reporting, systems support, and staffing services. As the HR Administrator, you are responsible for client service with internal team stakeholders and management, as well as for our five client departments. You will provide delegated staffing services and will be responsible for leading the hiring processes for GradCorps, Co-op, STEP students, and administrative positions. This position also provides executive level administrative support to the Director and the HRBP team.

Essential Qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet each of the following qualifications. Please note, selection for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.

  • Post secondary level coursework in business, office administration, human resources or another related field.
  • Significant experience performing a variety of executive level administrative support functions.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, 365).
  • Experience providing human resource support services or recruitment will be considered an asset.
  • Yukon Government staffing delegation will be considered an asset.

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
