Role Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager or Operations Manager, the Building Maintenance Technician will contribute and participate in activities related to preventative and unscheduled maintenance, as well as environmental, health and safety, and other special initiatives by performing the following duties, with a goal of providing exceptional resident satisfaction through the delivery of great service to all residents at all times.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the operation and upkeep of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural systems, and building life safety equipment and systems

Maintenance and housekeeping of the grounds, ensuring public and tenant safety, and performing daily site inspections
Ensure optimization of site waste & energy management and recycling programs.
Follow a program of scheduled preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Provide emergency response coverage as required.
Coordinate and supervise trades work such as painters, electricians, plumbers, etc. when necessary
Ensure property, grounds and vacant units are kept clean in accordance with QuadReal standards;
Provide a high level of customer service.
