As a Fleet Analyst, you will provide analytical support, administration and reporting on Fleet related activities. The position works with other Fleet Supervisors to track vehicle and asset movements with the Calgary Police Service (CPS) fleet. Primary duties include:
  • Analyze the Fleet Section’s asset performance trends and lifecycle costs, including identifying over and underutilized vehicles, reporting options, reporting on parts and labour repair trends and analyzing costs.
  • Administer, analyze and report on fleet tracking and monitoring systems.
  • Evaluate and report on driver habits, environmental concerns and identify issues and opportunities for efficiencies and savings.
  • Oversee environmental sustainability initiatives.
  • Review and administer vehicle damage claims and compile reports on total costs and submit to Finance for recovery.
  • Handle the administration of fuel expenses and savings.
Qualifications
  • A 2-year diploma in Mathematics, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related discipline and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; OR a Degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related discipline and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with sustainability related initiatives within a fleet environment is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Asset Works Fleet Management or a similar fleet management software, PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) and Telematics software is considered an asset.
  • Success in this position requires analytical thinking, change management, coaching and development, efficiency and thoroughness and focus on results. An effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.

Compensation: Pay Grade 8 $35.51 – 47.49 per hour
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.


Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
