Duties
The Team Lead, Materiel Acquisition and Support is responsible for managing a team of employees who work on a variety of procurement, contracting, acquisition, and materiel support tasks. This includes developing and implementing complex strategies and departmental plans to meet the various requirements of senior management, technical authorities, clients, and other stakeholders.

ED1. Degree* from a recognized post-secondary institution with specializations such as procurement, administration, finance, accounting, law or business.
OR
College diploma (DEC) and combination of studies, training and experience in the field related to the position to be filled.
- Degree refers to a bachelor's degree, as established by the competent educational authorities.
Degree equivalency
EXPERIENCE
EX1. Recent significant experience* in developing and implementing procurement (including contracts) in management strategies for goods and services.
EX2. Recent significant experience* as a contracting authority responsible for meeting the requirements of the procurement process in at least three (3) of the following activities: identification of needs, selection or development of procurement strategies and plans, management of inventories and materials, negotiation, administration and management of contracts.
EX3. Recent significant experience* in writing or revising statements of work, preparing requests for proposals and tenders and contractual and related documents for the procurement of goods and services from private sector companies.
- Recent and significant experience refers to the depth and breadth of experience obtained through the performance of a wide range of activities related to the position and normally acquired over a period of approximately three (3) continuous years.

ASSET OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
AOC1. Hold the Canadian Supply Management Training (SMT) Program.

AEX1. Recent and significant experience* using Material or Financial Management Information System, such as Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) or another systems, applications and products of the (SAP) database related to procurement and material management.
AEX2. Recent and significant experience* in the supply and acquisition of equipment in the field of construction and maintenance of infrastructure (real estate).
AEX3. Recent and significant experience* in managing or supervising a work team and the related financial management.
