Role

Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, Employment and Financial Services, your exceptional strategic leadership will ensure that career and employment information services (CEIS) strategies are developed and delivered through Alberta Supports channels and contracts, in alignment with the Government of Alberta’s Labour Force Framework. CEIS are delivered by the province and contracted service providers, and funded through Labour Market Transfer Agreements. CEIS are critical to get Albertans back to work, including persons with disabilities, under-represented groups, and multi-barriered individuals.

Qualifications

You bring extensive senior management experience including leading large and complex social service programs. This role requires a skilled collaborator with a background in supporting vulnerable client populations, creating innovative solutions, change management, an understanding of labour market agreements, and strong service delivery orientation. An influential leader, you bring strengths in executive level communication and leadership skills, policy and program initiatives, handling sensitive issues, and managing significant financial and human resources. A related degree is preferred.

Salary

$4,801.47 - $6,310.03 bi-weekly ($125,318 - $164,691 yearly)
