Your Impact:


As a Senior Project Architect, you’ll have the responsibility for leading building projects in their design, development, and realization phase for a variety of projects sizes.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead complex and challenging industrial and commercial building types in the municipal and private sector. Share your technical expertise, lead the decision-making process, mentor, and collaborate with a team of architects and building engineers to make projects a reality. You'll lead the architectural project, spearhead technical problem-solving discussions, engage with clients, and plan and execute delivery while providing guidance to a team of designers. Responsibilities:

  • Develop designs from concept and lead its delivery through to construction phases.
  • Evaluate designs against the local building codes, provide analysis and solutions and support the permitting process.
  • Perform coordination reviews of architectural and engineering documents.
  • Provide direction for detailing and specifications.
  • Perform regular construction site visits to perform general reviews of construction progress.
  • Mentor intern architects and designers in their careers.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
  • 10+ years experienced as a licensed Architect in Canada (OAA, AIBC, AAA, SAA, OR MAA)
  • 10+ years applicable experience in designing buildings through all phases including construction.
  • Experience in applying national or local provincial building codes and permitting.
  • Experience in designing any building types of the following occupancies: industrial, assembly, business & personal services.
  • Experience in Revit or Aecosim or similar BIM platforms; AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam
  • Strong communications and ability to explain complex concepts and technical issues.
