Client Relations Manager

Join our Communications team as a full-time Client Relations Manager and be part of a company that is driving positive impact. What can you expect in this role?

The Client Relations Manager is a positive, dynamic, and self-motivated individual who has strong relationship building skills, and is results-driven with the ability to actively source and pursue opportunities with the financial community. The Client Relations Manager role is based in Saskatoon and will work to build and broaden the depth and breadth of Golden Opportunities Fund to successfully achieve market share growth with a focus on Saskatchewan.

Relationship Management

  • Establish and cultivate relationships with existing and new financial advisors, and provide support, product knowledge and business building tactics
  • Build relationships with other distribution partners and channels who can aid growth
  • Maintain effective CRM database

Business Strategies and Implementation

  • Help to create, implement, and execute on a plan and related goals, as well as other communication campaigns, to achieve results, increase market share and retention of targets
  • Identify new opportunities, through existing and/or new relationships, initiatives and strategies
  • Articulate the Fund’s features and investment portfolio, and effectively deliver messaging, product positioning and presentations to financial advisors and distribution channel partners


  • Collaborate with a Team of dynamic colleagues who are experts in their fields
  • Provide market intelligence to the Team
  • Cultivate a positive team environment

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Sales and business development experience with the ability to prospect
  • Execution of measurable sales processes
  • Networking and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with financial advisors and other partners in the industry
  • Ability to help in the development of business plans and targeted programs to deliver, as well as innovative sales strategies and analysis of sales information
  • Strong presentation skills and delivery with different audiences both in-person and virtually (including use of technology)
  • Effective time management and execution skills
  • Business education, such as a B.Comm. or Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or other related expertise and education
  • An understanding and knowledge of the wealth management industry landscape is an asset
  • Frequent travel is required as well as flexibility in scheduling
