Job Description

Sews all private label clothing samples ensuring the quality of products.

1. Sample Sewing

• Sews clothing samples while paying special attention to details (grain, interfacing, etc.).
• Modifies and adjusts clothing samples or makes alterations.
• Effectively uses specialized industrial sewing equipment (plain machine, overlock, buttonhole machine, etc.).
• Communicates any questions or required adjustments on the pattern to the Pattern Maker before sending it to the subcontractor to ensure accuracy.
• Performs sample pressing.

Additional Responsibilities___________________________________

• Adheres to all new and existing Company policies and procedures (i.e. Loss Prevention, Health & Safety and Human Resources).

Qualifications

• 10 years experience in sportswear manufacturing.
• Experience in sewing high quality clothing.
• Attention to details and precision.
• Ability to use industrial sewing equipment.
• Ability to make jackets, skirts, pants, jersey knits, etc.
• Strong communication skills.
• Bilingualism
