The opportunity:


Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to project teams. The incumbent will help plan, asses, design and manage the delivery of cross-functional, technical, and business programs and projects of varying complexity and size, within scope, timelines, and quality targets. This includes facilitating the Portfolio Demand Intake process, supporting resource and capacity planning, along with managing Project Management Framework (PMF) standards, templates, systems, and repositories.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Assisting the PMO team with the creation and coordination of project schedules, activities, and project support documentation.
  • Facilitating and supporting aggregation of project information, status updates and reporting for project and digital product teams.
  • Maintaining project records/files and organizing documentation for due diligence.
  • Managing and maintaining Project Management Framework (PMF) standards, workflows, templates, systems, and repositories.
  • Ensuring teams remain aligned on Project Management Framework through project controls and services.
  • Creating and maintaining management dashboards and executive summaries.
  • Leading resource management support including roll on – roll off, resource tracking and reporting.
  • Communicating project / program management statuses to different stakeholders as required.
  • Facilitating Project Portfolio Demand Intake and Review processes from ticketing, workload assignment, and risk and issue management with PMO team.
  • Engaging in thought leadership and sharing ideas within and across teams.
  • Driving innovation and continuous learning to proactively tackle disruptors.
  • Applying a digital mindset and engaging in continuous learning to update digital skills, digital thinking, and analytical thinking capabilities.

  • Ensuring procedures are followed and reported on as required.

The ideal candidate will possess:


  • A college or University degree in business, finance, or computer science.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT project environment.
  • Experience managing both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies; PMP or CSM designation is an asset.
  • Start-up experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Domain.
  • PMP or CSM, Business Analyst MBA is an asset.
  • An ability to champion innovative and progressive approaches, processes, tools, and solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to work proactively and collaboratively.
  • A demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and drive constant improvement to achieve results.
  • Experience making hard trade-offs and decisions with running multiple, competing priorities concurrently.
