The opportunity…

The Communications, Engagement and Strategic Initiatives (CESI) Branch is responsible for corporate internal communications, including content management of the intranet, and coordinates strategic initiatives under the People Plan.


CESI is seeking a creative and client-oriented individual who is passionate about improving the workplace experience for all Yukon government employees.


You will work with human resources and communications teams across the government to help PSC promote and communicate its programs and services using a variety of online and traditional communications methods. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of communications projects and develop your skills in areas such as media relations, speech writing, and developing content for websites, newsletters, blogs and social media.

  • Education in communications, public relations, journalism or related discipline
  • Experience with research, development and implementation of communication and marketing strategies
  • Experience developing communications materials (news releases, reports, website content, etc.)
  • Experience engaging with client groups on projects/initiatives and providing recommendations

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
