COOK – CLASSE III (1 TEMPORARY POSITION – 6 MONTHS)

Under the supervision of the production chefs, you will work in a safe, unique and motivating environment. Your main duties will be:

• Perform breakfast food preparation.
• Perform daily meal set-ups.
• Provide salad bar supplies and service.

Your profile:

• Vocational diploma in professional cooking (or equivalent).
• Relevant experience in institutional cooking.
• Expertise in preparation and cooking of vegetables, salads, cold buffets and breakfasts, and to store and preserve food.
• Have followed the MAPAQ training.

Work conditions:

• Work shifts of 11 hours per day.
• Rotation schedule of 50/50: equivalent to 3 consecutive weeks of work followed by 2 weeks of leave; and 2 consecutive weeks of work followed by 3 weeks of leave.
• Private air transport is provided from Montreal, Quebec, Rouyn-Noranda, Mont-Joli or Inuit communities (depending on place of residence) to the mine site and return.
