New Job Private Estate Housekeeper In British Columbia

About the role:

We are looking for a Private Estate Housekeeper for a large private property in Vancouver. The ideal candidate would manage all home maintenance and be willing to support the owner in basic cleaning or seasonal prep as needed.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Responsible for day-to-day operations of the home, performing preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC and all sub-systems
• Schedule and oversee contractors to ensure all work is done to a high standard
• Maintaining all household appliances and ensuring proper function
• Supporting in maintaining the appearance of the home (ex. Small painting jobs, cleaning, wall hangings)
• Maintaining and log of work and communicating this to the owners
• Working collaboratively with the Executive Assistant to handle household bills and administrative duties
• Supervision of other household staff

Required Experience / Qualifications:

• Prior maintenance/cleaning/housekeeping experience
• Can communicate clearly in English
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Criminal record check/background check required
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods
• Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
• Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
• Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel and bend
• Ability to lift, push and pull required load (up to approximately 35 lbs)
• Must have a clean driving record and vehicle
