We are seeking a part-time candidate to perform still life photography and image retouching of our railway parts for inclusion in an ecommerce catalog. Position is located at our Coteau-du-Lac, Québec distribution facility. This is a part time opportunity, with flexible work hours, ideally suited for a mature Cegep/College/University student seeking to develop some experience. Must have ability to commute to and from our facility in Coteau-du-lac.

Key Job Responsibilities:

· Photograph a high volume of still life industrial products;

· Process, edit, retouch, and resize images using Photoshop;

· Maintain original and edited image files in an organized manner;

· Apply images to website product catalog (Magento).

Education and Experience:

· Photography courses or equivalent work experience. Amateur level photography experience (required). All equipment with be provided with some training;

· Knowledge of or experience with lighting concepts, use of light boxes, green screen, etc. (preferred);

· Experience with photoshop image retouching/editing or other similar image editing software (preferred). Computer hardware and software to be provided;

· Experienced operating an SLR camera and tripod (preferred);

· Willingness to work in an industrial environment while taking photos. (required);

· Experience with Magento website development an asset but not required.

Desirable attributes:

· Highly reliable, organized, and detail oriented;

· Ability to work independently;

· Capacity to photograph a large volume of products;

· Ability to work quickly, striking a balance between quality and timelines (efficiency);

· Ability to lift and manipulate a variety of steel, plastic, and other industrial products up to 35 lbs (required);

· Willingness to work in an industrial environment while taking photos (required).

Nous recherchons un candidat à temps partiel pour effectuer des photographies et des retouches d’images de nos pièces ferroviaires pour inclusion dans un catalogue de commerce électronique. Le poste est situé à notre installation de distribution de Coteau-du-Lac, Québec. Il s’agit d’une opportunité à temps partiel, avec des heures de travail flexibles, idéale pour un étudiant adulte de cégep/collège/université cherchant à développer une certaine expérience. Doit avoir la capacité de se déplacer vers et depuis notre installation à Coteau-du-Lac.

Principales responsabilités du poste :

• Photographier un grand nombre de produits industriels ;

• Traiter, éditer, retoucher et redimensionner des images en utilisant Photoshop ;

• Conserver les fichiers d’images originaux et modifiés de manière organisée ;

• Appliquer des images au catalogue de produits du site Web (Magento).

Éducation et expérience :

• Cours de photographie ou expérience de travail équivalente. Expérience en photographie de niveau amateur (obligatoire). Tout l’équipement sera fourni avec une certaine formation ;

• Connaissance ou expérience des concepts d’éclairage, utilisation de caissons lumineux, écran vert, etc. (préféré) ;

• Expérience de la retouche/édition d’images Photoshop ou d’un autre logiciel similaire (préféré) ;

• Expérience de l’utilisation d’un appareil photo reflex et d’un trépied (préféré) ;

• Volonté de travailler dans un environnement industriel tout en prenant des photos (obligatoire) ;

• Expérience avec le développement de sites Web Magento un atout, mais non requis.
