Qualifications:
- Education Required: Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's Degree Program, and in good academic standing
- Years of Experience Required:
Responsibilities:
- The majority of your time will be spent working on Naval Projects (ie: Arctic Offshore Patrol Vessel, Canadian Surface Combatant). This could include a variety of analyses and calculations. You will learn some of the very many military/commercial specifications related to maintenance planning, logistic support analysis, availability, reliability, maintainability (AR&M), Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA), spares modeling and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) modeling.
- You'll also get to experience what contractual commitments are like, along with customer specifications, engineering data, design changes, and other data to plan and develop ILS activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product.
- You will get to be involved in client interactions, preparing reports and presentations and be up front and center with the biggest shipbuilding program Canada has ever seen!
