Join the momentum. We are seeking an Analyst for our growing Consulting Services team. Driving business excellence, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Consulting team works with organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to provide innovative strategies tailored to maximize efficiencies, enhance performance and increase profitability.

ROLE @ MNP:

Performance Expectations

• Assist in the proposal, planning and implementation of management consulting engagements with a focus on private sector clients
• Perform financial analysis, business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, and other forms of consulting
• Develop financial and quantitative models as part of consulting engagements
• Perform complex and detailed research, interpretation and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data for the purpose of proposing, planning and implementing business improvements for clients.
• Participate in research through the collection, development and analysis of data through financial information, online content, report review, interviews, focus groups, surveys and operational data
• Coordinate workflow and perform tasks related to proposal creation, production and delivery
• Design, develop, format, and proof-read professional reports, proposals, presentations and correspondence
• Develop positive working relationships and liaise with client peers and colleagues
• Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services and clientele through experiential learning with clients
• Network and support the local professional community while raising awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes while effectively using MNP internal programs and systems
• Promote regular attendance, balanced lifestyle and high standard of team wellness
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve methodologies and work processes
• Attend internal MNP courses to further develop your consulting knowledge

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of general business principles knowledge of finance, marketing, planning, human resources, technology and operations
• Comfort and skill working with various forms of data and financial information
• Strong modelling skills
• Demonstrated understanding and ability to interpret statistical information
• Strong computer literacy including effective working skills across the MS office suite
• Ability to synthesize findings and insight from various sources of information and data
• Ability to distinguish between cause and symptoms of problems to identify options and the associated implications, to recognize the significance and impact of decisions and/or actions and a demonstrated willingness to seek assistance and advice where appropriate
• Ability to manage competing initiatives within defined timelines
• Possess either:

• a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics or related field and between two (2) to four (4) years of experience in industry and/or professional services
• a graduate degree in business, accounting, finance, economics or related field

• Previous experience or training in project management and/or business analysis considered an asset
• Some travel may be required
