Country Ribbon Inc. is an integrated chicken production and processing company that markets products under the Country Ribbon, Pinehill and other private brand names. Country Ribbon operates a livestock feed mill, production complex and processing plant in the St. John's area.

We are accepting applications for the position of Health and Safety Coordinator. This is temporary position for a period of 4 months, with the possibility of extension.

Under the direction of our OHS Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the promotion and maintenance the health and safety programs at our various sites. The OHS Coordinator will conduct workplace inspections and audits, complete incident investigations and act as an advisor on health and safety issues.

The successful candidate must be a graduate of an Occupational Health and Safety Program from a recognized educational institution, supplemented by related work experience. Strong communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to multi task and problem solve are essential. Applicants who possess or are working towards a CRSP designation will be given preference.
