New job Specialist, Government Property Compliance Officer in Ontario

Position Description:

• Lead and direct all third party Government Property (GP) audits
• Perform compliance audits for all GDLS-C GP on a rotating basis
• Develop and manage an annual audit plan for all GDLS-C sites and selected vendor/subcontractor sites
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of our GP internal controls
• Identify non-conformances
• Prepare comprehensive written reports of findings
• Follow-up to determine adequacy of corrective actions
• Recommends changes in procedures to increase efficiency and improve safeguards
• Participate in training development, delivery, and support to GDLS-C personnel in relation to GP
• Provide Government Property Contractual support to Program Administration as required
• Prepare and deliver GP program presentations (for internal or external customers) as required
• Maintain GP Management Plans and related procedures
• Interface with various customers including DND, NDQAR, PWGSC, DCMA
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with external customers

Position Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• University/College degree
• Working knowledge of FAR 52.245-1 Management of GP
• Prior GP experience, 2 years
• Experience in a customer facing role
• Proficient with Microsoft applications
• Ability to perform well in a team environment
• Demonstrated high level of oral and written communication
• High level of analytical skills
• High level of interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Business degree
• Certified Professional Property Administrator, CPPM
• Experience with contract or legislative language interpretation
• Oracle Experience
• DRMIS Experience
