Job Summary:
The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for Accounting Reconciliations, Invoicing and AP & AR management, credit-insurance and customer credit rating management, invoice factoring as well as CRM management. You’ll be reporting to our VP Finance & HR and working closely with the Operations team and Sales team to ensure full accounting compliance is met. Our ideal candidate is multitasking and comfortable taking initiative on an everyday basis. There is lots of room for growth, so we’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to do some great things.
Responsibilities:
Reconciling all transactions in our Xero software for our various entities globally
Managing our receiptbank AP software and ensuring payables are handled on a weekly basis
Invoicing customers + Accounts Receivable management
Managing our creditor customer risk portfolio and ensuring optimal coverage with our credit insures (Coface)
Managing invoice factoring via our partner Fundthrough.com
Updating our Master Customer List (CRM) for our 70+ retail partners
Education and Qualifications:
1+ years relevant work experience in a consumer product company in the accounting department
Relative education qualifications /trainings in Accounting, Business, or related field.
High level of social skills, with the ability to quickly create legitimate long-lasting relationships with people, namely your co-workers, our retail customers and our manufacturers
High degree of organization and ability to set targets and meet them on a weekly, monthly and yearly timescale
Must be highly affluent in MS Excel
Lots of attention to detail
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Must speak fluent English
