We’re looking for a team player, a detail orientated, organized person to join our Individual Administration team. As a member of this team, you will help us achieve our monthly targets by processing change requests related to Individual Health insurance policies; i.e.: changes to benefits & coverage, method of payment, billing, and other maintenance.

You will also ensure sales agents are paid correctly, and deliver excellent customer service to our internal customers.

Your every day with us:
You will apply your administrative skills maintaining individual insurance policies, using different admin & billing systems, ensuring a high level of accuracy and organization. You will work in a high volume fast paced environment where prioritizing is a must. Strong communication skills are essential.

As well, you will:
  • Process benefit changes and billing related tasks within the established accuracy, productivity and efficiency performance targets using different admin systems, ensuring our clients receive their insurance information promptly and accurately;
  • Determine sales agents commission payments based on the product sold while following the commission payment schedule;
  • Perform general accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable and reconciliations of accounts which include balancing multiple reports, calculating premium refunds and other adjustments;
  • Follow pre-determined system and business processes using the existing procedure and process database;
  • Communicate with internal and external sales agents, plan members, and other inter departmental team members in a timely and professional manner both verbally and in writing;
  • Prepare and send Insurance coverage mail outs including coverage details both on paper and digitally;
  • Collaborate with peers and co-workers to manage workflows to meet monthly targets.

What you need to succeed:
  • A post-secondary diploma in a related field;
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an office environment;
  • A high level of accuracy while working in a fast paced environment with demanding turn-around times;
  • You are self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, strong computer skills
  • Bilingual (English and French) is a requirement
