New job Apprentice Carpenter in St. John's, NL

Looking for a Carpenter Apprentice to assist with residential construction work.

Position details:

-The ideal candidate should have experience in the residential carpentry industry.

-Must be reliable with own transportation to various areas around the greater St. John's region.

-Must have own hand tools (hammer, tape measure, square, etc.).

-Apprentice will be directly supervised by a journey person on-site.

-Full-time position (30-40+ hours per week) following a regular Mon-Fri dayshift schedule with the possibility of some weekends.

- Potential for long term employment if performance meets expectations.

-Compensation depends on experience and motivation

-Must have minimum of 1st year course completed to qualify for government wage subsidy program

Job Description:

- Assist journeyman with any and all carpentry related tasks

- Ability to work in a physically demanding fast paced environment.

- Able to follow directions and work both independently as well as part of a team.
