ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – FULL TIME PERMANENT
SASKATOON, SK or VANCOUVER, BC

We are currently recruiting for a high performing Administrative Assistant in either Saskatoon, SK or Vancouver, BC. You will report to the Managing Director, Private Sector, located in Vancouver.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
This position is pivotal in sustaining effective and efficient day-to-day business operations through a number of internal support functions that relate to the production of client reports. You will support various Lines of Business by compiling and formatting reports as per established guidelines, schedule appointments, and scan documents. You are the final link in ensuring that client reports are professionally presented and delivered on time, in order to uphold Suncorp’s brand promise of ON TIME, CREDIBLE, PROFESSIONAL.
Where reception duties are involved, you will be the first point of contact for clients and external business partners. You will be an important ambassador of Suncorp’s professionalism and hospitality. As well, you will provide support to management and staff through a range of office support activities, as required.
The role requires some flexibility in the work schedule to provide coverage in other time zones, as required.

You easily manage multiple projects and are naturally focused on providing internal stakeholders and external clients with high levels of service to meet our brand promise. You are able to communicate openly, timely and effectively, and you encourage and support others in working to create “win-win” solutions. You hold yourself and others accountable for demonstrating core values and producing quality and time and cost-effective results. You have solid administrative technical skills and knowledge including MS Office, while finding efficient ways to complete assignments. You are able to be flexible with your work schedule to provide coverage in other time zones, as required.
You have the following credentials:
- Diploma or an accredited Business School Certificate in Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years in an administrative function.
- Expertise with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Minimum keyboarding speed of 50 wpm.
