What you will do:
The Services éducatifs francophones is currently seeking an online course coordinator, who will report to the director of the Programmes d'études branch.

The successful candidate will work with the provincial learning specialist for the Cours en ligne unit and all other members of the team to coordinate the development and delivery of online courses and will take care of administrative and financial matters.

In conjunction with various internal and external stakeholders at EECD, the chosen candidate will support staff in online course development and delivery by:

  • Supporting the management and planning of online courses.
  • Coordinating and producing communications for schools.
  • Offering technical support to users of the Clic platform.
  • Managing and tracking the team's operational tasks and educational support materials.
  • Organizing the team's documentation, budget and finances.
  • Reviewing and coordinating corrections to the various courses offered through the Clic platform.

Work environment:

  • Office location: Tracadie area with possibility of telework.
  • Team of learning specialists, programmers, developers, teachers and a graphic designer (about 25 people).
  • Standard hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Who you are:
You will need to demonstrate a high level of organization, communication and time management to guarantee all tasks are completed in an effective and timely manner. In addition, you must have a good understanding of the tools and technologies used for online courses. You have effective records and financial management skills. You are independent but like working with a team. You have adaptability and attention to detail, and innovation and continuous improvement are important to you. You are able to solve problems creatively and are focussed on meeting deadlines.

Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:

Need to have:

  • Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field.
  • Five (5) years' experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and use technology with ease.
  • Strong ability to manage budgets and finances.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in French is required. Please state your language capability.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with D2L platform.
  • Strong knowledge of records management.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion.
