Explore More Watersports is hiring a boat captain join us at Peakes Quay Marina this summer. Here you will help us provide Captained Speedboat Tours, Private Seal Tours, Seadoo Rentals, Flyboard & Hoverboard Flights, Efoil Surfing lessons, and Tow Sports such as waterskiing, wakeboarding, wake skating, knee boarding, and tubing. You’ll be an ambassador of Explore More Watersports!

Becoming a representative of our company means you will interact directly with our customers professionally with their safety, always top of mind. The right applicant(s) will be confident speaking to groups of people, while processing clients, delivering safety orientations, and safe equipment operations. You must love the ocean, be a good swimmer and enjoy working in a fast-paced marine setting where your main priorities are the safety of our clients, our equipment, and the environment.

Tour Boat Captain Responsibilities:

Tow Sports - waterskiing, slalom ski course, wakeboarding, wake skating, kneeboarding, tubing
Tours - two-hour speed boat tours of Ch'Town & Hillsborough River & Governor's Island Seals
Customer Service - greet customers, scheduling, process transactions, equipment fitting
Scheduling - phone calls, emails, and replying to messages in a professional manner
Provide Safety Orientations - safe boat operations, emergency procedures, and marina rules
Other Duties Include - errands, fueling, photography, equipment maintenance, and retail sales
The Safety of Our Clients - ensure they have an unforgettable experience on the water with us

Captain Prerequisites:

• First Aid and CPR
• Driver's License Class 5
• Boating & Tow Sports Experience
• Pleasure Craft Operator Card PCOC
• Be Friendly, Respectful, and a TEAM Player

Assets: Boating and or watercraft experience, waterskier, tour guide, surfing, SUP, haul a trailer, mechanically inclined, hospitality and Tourism, lifeguarding, WordPress, scuba diving, or photography
