SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will:
Provide legal services to labour employment and administrative law clients, either individually or as a member of the practice group team, on a wide variety of matters;
Advise government, health authorities, educational institutions and private business on employment, labour relations, human rights and other administrative law matters;
Compete legal research, writing and analysis of labour relations, employment law and administrative law matters;
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients by providing exceptional client service;
Manage an extensive case load with minimal supervision.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
10 or more years of related experience post Bar call;
A member of the PEI Bar (or potential to become a member);
A highly motivated self-starter who has the ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment with other lawyers and support staff;
Enriched analytical proficiency;
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging legal environment;
Entrepreneurial minded with an aptitude for business development;
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
