Our Infrastructure Delivery Team implements projects to facilitate sustainable growth whilst minimising the impact on existing communities. By ensuring our physical infrastructure is effective and safe for the public, we help make Central Bedfordshire a great place to live and work. By working alongside colleagues to deliver a portfolio of projects to ensure local people and communities have outstanding infrastructure and connectivity then you could find your greatness.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Support Officer to support the delivery of a portfolio of capital projects. Your duties will include servicing meetings, managing diaries, updating the Homes England project management system, managing capitalization, managing stakeholder engagement and to engage with relevant CBC colleagues. The projects are a new electrical substation, provision of school places, a station transport interchange, and an equestrian/pedestrian bridge over the railway.
If you have previous experience in a similar role, then we would love to hear from you. You will bring enthusiasm and a can-do approach. You will use your great organisational skills to assist the Programme Manager and team as appropriate. It is essential that you build strong working relationships both within CBC and to external stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate relevant experience in a similar support role.
