About The Role
As part-time sales associates at our Ace Liquor West Lethbridge location in Lethbridge, AB is currently looking for friendly, outgoing and customer service driven individuals to join our team.
Purpose of Job
Provide excellent customer service to every person who walks into our store, understand their needs and instil a good customer mindset within the store. Participate in the stocking and merchandising of the store, ensuring that the store is always ready for customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
People Skills
- Customer service is driven, friendly, and willing to talk to all customers.
- Effective verbal communication skills
- At all times, maintain a professional appearance and attitude. "
Customer Offering
- Deliver exemplary customer service
- Greet customers when they enter the store and take them to the product when required. "
- Generate sales by educating, advising and proposing products to every client.
- By completing all training within the required time, you will maintain a high level of service and product knowledge.
- Escort customers from the store and offer car service when appropriate. "
Financial
- Completing customer transactions on the Point-of-Sale (POS) device, including payment.
- What are cash handling policies and procedures? How do they work? What is the procedure?
- Ensure all opening and closing procedures are done correctly (when applicable)?
- The complete end of day total (when applicable): 1
- The safe is locked at all times and all deposits are secured (when applicable).
Day to Day Operations
- Perform all opening and closing procedures (when applicable) when applicable.
- Stock shelves with coolers full of products.
- Participate in marketing and promotional activities.
- Participate in routine store maintenance and cleaning. )
- Other tasks as assigned
Regulatory Adherence
- Ensure that OHS, LP, and other regulatory requirements and procedures are implemented and adhered to.
- Keep up on first aid, lifeguarding and OSHA training. )
- Maintain ProServe Certification
- Ensure other government guidelines are met by ICAO.
- Adheres to all SNDL policy, with a focus on social responsibility.
Qualifications
Work Experience
- 1 year experience in retail environment ( preferred, not required) Minimum.
- Pasta-related experience is considered an asset. '
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent..
- ProServe Certification
- The First Aid Certificate is considered an asset.
- I prefer wine/beer/spirits (preferable, not required) in training.
Physical Requirements
- Retailers are available to work a diverse retail schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
