About the role
What you’ll be doing…
Our Advisors prioritize customer service and can connect with individuals in a personal manner. As pillars of the Canadian Banking Branch network, our goal is to provide outstanding service throughout the customer's journey.
- Ensure that an assigned portfolio of relationships with small businesses, regardless of their value or complexity, is managed in accordance with Scotiabank's Service Standard to achieve retention and other negotiated goals.
- Developing links with different communities and creating a strong local business presence.
- Working actively with both new and old customers to establish long-lasting relationships and offer comprehensive guidance, leading to the establishment of profitable businesses.'
- Create a customer-centric atmosphere by working with other advisors.
What you have…
- With a focus on results and a savvy knowledge of the small business market, you possess expertise in financial statements, risk management, policy development, and legal documentation for small businesses. Additionally, your understanding of these factors is advantageous. How do you handle customer inquiries?
- You exhibit effective business development strategies and are knowledgeable about small business legal structures, lifecycles, competitors' products, and alternative funding sources. Additionally, you exhibit effective business planning and are aware of the legal structures of small businesses, including legal entities, contracts, and lifecycles.
- Your organizational abilities and flexibility are impressive, and you excel in managing a constantly changing environment.
- As a person who is proficient in communication and enjoys meeting new people, you are an excellent team player.
- If your background aligns with the field of business, you may have either an undergraduate degree or work experience as a small business owner.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a car are necessary.'
