Summary: Senior auditor

The senior auditor will assist in leading and supporting teams of professionals to provide quality service to our customers, they will be expected to develop industry and technical expertise in audit and valuation as well as coaching junior staff.

Job duties:

  • Apply firm audit and accounting practices and methodologies to client engagements.
  • Conduct external financial statement assurance engagements.
  • Leadership of field teams as well as coaching and mentoring junior staff members.
  • The development and maintenance of relationships with clients.
  • High quality control is done by reviewing the work completed by other staff.
  • The training of the staff on procedures and processes.
  • Ensuring timelines are met.
  • Coordinating work with partners and managers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What should I bring to a party?

  • Accounting/business degree
  • Successful completion of the CFE and/or working toward a CPA designation.
  • 2 -3 years post graduate experience with a public accounting firm.
  • ANS, ASE, and PSCE.
  • Thorough technical knowledge and experience regarding applicable accounting reporting standards. )
  • Audit supervision experience
  • Experience in mentoring and delegating work to junior staff.
  • Project management, teamwork and interpersonal skills. )
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) allow you to thrive in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude, self starter
