Job Details

Position Title: Registration and Records Specialist

Status: FT Support

Hours: 35hrs/wk

Faculty/Department: Office of the Registrar

Campus/Location: Lakeshore

Salary: Min $26.73 Max $31.00

What you will do:

Under the direction of the manager, Student Records-Retention & Enrolment related questions and topics for domestic and international students, the Registration and Records Specialist provides unambiguous front line support for a broad range of initiatives in the Office of the Registrar. The incumbent must retain a wide range of knowledge - skills on programs, courses, academic policy, and government policy as required.


What you bring to the role:

Education

  • The successful candidate will possess a 2 year diploma in business, accounting or related field.

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a complex customer service environment that could include financial transactions.

Skills

  • Demonstrated use of initiative in both planning and work, taking a proactive approach to addressing customers' concerns and providing adequate follow-up to resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks, frequent interruptions, fluctuating volume and ongoing deadlines. '
  • Data analysis and attention to detail is key to identifying potential errors and issues. '
  • Effective interpersonal skills, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • In a post-secondary educational environment, knowledge and experience would be beneficial.
