The Louisiana Regional Prosecutors Office is seeking a highly motivated, disciplined, well-organized and confident individual who is capable of working in a fast-paced and challenging work environment with respect to legal documentation and court processes. Your responsibilities will include the hiring, training and supervision of support staff.
You will be required to summarise, research and prepare court files which include using the information transfer/tracking program EPIC (Electronic Prosecutions Information Center) as replacement for PADDS (Prosecution Automated Data and Document System), and JAIN (Justice Automated Network System).
Typically, you will have developed your knowledge and skills through a four-year undergraduate program in human justice or criminal studies. You must have office management experience and well-developed supervisory skills as a successful candidate; both legal and secretarial education and experience. You must know of office administrative procedures including filing systems and knowledge of legal terminology,' said Mr. Housman.
