Full Description
ECOSAN Hygiene Ltd. and its affiliated group of companies is seeking an OFFICE MANAGER based from our head office in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
This key role will work closely with company leadership and oversee a head office administration team in managing all financial, risk-related functions for ECOSAN Hygiene Ltd. as well as the hospitality company (operating eight hotels across Canada/USA) and property holding company.
Our combined businesses have about 175 employees and generate revenue of about $1.5 million annually (the first business was established in 2004).

Position duties include complete accountability for:
- All financial accounting activities, such as invoicing, receivables and payables, are under the direct supervision of a team of administrative assistants who help manage these functions.
- All payroll functions are performed across multiple payroll platforms, depending on the particular business unit and the oversight of compliance with all employment laws across several provinces and states.
- All compliance requirements related to employee insurance, workers' compensation, property and business liability insurance. vehicle insurance for business licensing, annual hospitality inspections, etc.
- Weekly, monthly and annual financial reporting related to various departmental metrics (KPIs) across multiple business units.
- In relation to financial targets and overall growth of companies, continued support and guidance to senior leadership (general managers, service managers or production managers). )
- Annual financial reporting in conjunction with an outside accounting firm. '
- Ongoing research and evaluation of all financial platforms to ensure the best possible, cost-effective systems are in place across our organization.
- Ongoing relationship with various banks and financial institutions related to day-to-day banking operations (Canada & US). ):
- Management of IT functions and relationship with the IT company to ensure best practices related to email system, server functionality, data back-ups etc.
Position requirements:
- Maximum five years of office management experience with minimum $5 million annual revenue, private for-profit enterprise ( preferred).
- minimum three years leading and coaching others within an administration function. '
- Experience working within a fast-paced, growing organization and a willingness to work with a positive, entrepreneurial attitude.
- Experience in managing accounting and payroll functions across multiple provinces/states ( preferred).
- Experience and competence in providing financial guidance to the owner and management team.

- Willingness to jump in and learn existing business systems and then reverse engineer them for better and stronger results.
Compensation:
$75,000/year to start.
Based on experience/their training, vacation time is negotiable.
