About this role:

Additional responsibilities of this position include controlling stock levels and stock variance control, and is responsible for ensuring acceptable levels of security in the store for both staff and physical assets. The manager is expected to contribute to improving the branch image by providing support to all Branch policies including reducing costs and maximizing revenue.

The state requires a criminal record check.

This position requires lifting liquor cases up to 50 lbs. to varying heights, standing at a cash register for extended periods of time and performing warehouse duties, including frequent bending and standing. Working in a multi-shift retail operation is also a critical component of this position prior to certification by the Board.

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor of a customer-facing, service environment.

Preference may be given to candidates with any of the following : )

  • Experience working in a retail or hospitality environment.
  • Experience must include direct accountability for achieving goals and driving sales.
  • In an environment with annual sales exceeding $10 million.
  • Experience with visual presentation standards and KPIs.
  • Degree, diploma or certification in business management (or successful completion of a supervisory/leadership course).
  • Recently experienced experience is defined as happening within the past five years. Experience must be in a confirmed position and not '' relaxed''.
