About Our Opportunity
As a Land Registration Officer, you are responsible for ensuring that all documents presented to the land registration office are in proper legal form and meet all requirements of the Land Registration Act and the Registry Act.
Primary Accountabilities
- For payments received for document submissions, products, services and deed transfer of tax and property account. Request details.
- Ensuring that applications and documents are accurately prepared, approved, and registered for future access in accordance with established policy and procedures.
- Approving or rejecting draft applications for registration of parcels into the land registry system and maintaining ownership and other interests in land parcels, as per law.
- Ensure that documents are scanned and stored in an organized and timely manner, he said.
- Providing information related to land and personal property registration. '
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this position, you must hold a minimum of four years experience in a customer service environment and an equivalent combination of training and experience may be acceptable. In addition, your strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), superior word processing skills and a keen attention to detail are required.
The following would be viewed as assets : experience handling financial transactions, accounting for payments and balancing day-to-day transactions; experience preparing documents using applications such as Skype, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Explorer; completion of a paralegal course, with experience in a legal environment. Knowledge of programs, policies, procedures and legislative requirements of the Land Registration Office, including emphasis on the land registration system? LR .
We will assess the above qualifications and competencies using one or more of the following tools: written examination, standardized tests; oral presentation; interview(s), interviews and reference checks.

Working Conditions

Pay Grade: CL 18
Salary Range: $1,675.62 - $1,874.80 Bi-Weekly
