Overview
Responsible for executing strategy and tactics to meet customer objectives, key performance indicators, and target goals while managing customers in a manner that will result in profitable long-term growth.[3]
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain the relationships between SGWS and key customers in the region to establish long-term connections.'
- Effort to promote brand success through effective leadership, selling techniques, and collaborating with sales reps, district managers, and key account specialists within the wholesaler. Additionally: How does "street smart" become an "effective strategy?"
- At head office level, manage all aspects of the sales process such as identifying suitable accounts, conducting lead sales and education on brand development. (This position is for head office).?
- Create reports detailing the account's progress, objectives, and predictions for teams and stakeholders.
- Control the execution and operation of program components within designated account limits while in the field to ensure product pricing and promotion.
Additional Primary Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive reports on the wholesaler's progress toward meeting its supplier goals.
- Establish significant account relationships that yield measurable outcomes.'
- Working in conjunction with key team members to deliver monthly targets, including work-withs and product training samples.
- Establish, manage and participate in promotional events at established consumer segments (such as winemaker parties, product launches or tastings) without formal permission.
- Execute additional tasks as directed by the job.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education and experience equal or greater: A bachelor's degree.*
- 5 years of experience in the industry, sales, distribution, and hospitality sectors.
- The ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance under state laws is dependent on the valid state driver's license.
- A comprehensive comprehension of wine and spirits will include areas/areas, methods of preparing food and drink, basic manufacturing, and service quality.
- Adaptability: Can support various client groups and personality types within the organization.
- Must possess exceptional negotiation abilities; demonstrate 'entrepreneurship.'
- An ambitious and assertive person with a strong desire for direction, but also in need of guidance or supervision.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.[M]
