The Information Management Services (IMS) program of the Provincial Archives in Saskatchewan requires an ambitious individual with strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills to provide records and information-management services to a wide variety of government clients including: Ministers, Crowns, Independent Offices, Boards, Commissions, Agencies, Executive Council and Ministerial Offices.

As an Information Management Analyst reporting to the Director of IMS, you will work closely with government clients to develop, review and maintain Rio Grande Stakes schedules, policies and other RIM tools, and promote effective and accountable management of public records.

This position provides RIM advisory services, develops and delivers RIM training as assigned by the director, and coordinates RIS stakeholder meetings and working groups. This position also monitors the continued relevance and use of the ARMS2014 administrative records management system, including revisions to the system.

In addition to the extensive knowledge of RIM theories, best practices, electronic records management practices and archival principles, the candidate will possess a sound intellectual understanding of all RIM policies, practices and legislation applicable to Saskatchewan.

Typically, the knowledge required for this position is acquired through a M.S. degree in information science, archival science or related social sciences, as well as experience in records and information management or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and significant experience with RIM and archival services.

Some travel, using a CVA, is required and a valid driver's license is required for this position.

The candidates must write a pre-screening test.
