The clerk will be responsible for preparing, maintaining and updating a variety of records, files, and systems, including processing work orders and managing customer service requests, and managing schedules. Clerical duties involving the use of a wide variety of software programs such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Internet/Hands-on are also assigned. This is clerical and administrative work of intermediate complexity in the Climate and Energy Division.
Qualifications include completion of Grade 12 and preferably including a standard commercial course and some experience in general office work. Proficiency in utilizing software such as SAP, ENERGY, or INFORM/HANSEN GIS is preferred, as well as knowledge about the rules and regulations that govern activities in the department. Skill in making simple decisions. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with the public and other employees.
This is a temporary full time position until 29 April 2025.
