since September 1961. Our cozy
and comfortable home encompasses five resident home areas (one secure) and has
four wonderful courtyards

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Environmental Services, the Cleaner maintains high
standards of cleanliness and
sanitation throughout the facility by cleaning and sanitizing rooms and
furnishings in assigned work areas
following established policies and procedures.
What You Will Do:
• Using specified cleaning agents and following
procedures performs tasks such as: sweeping
vacuuming, wet/dry mopping, stripping/waxing,
sanitizing/disinfecting, cleaning windows, floors,
walls, mirrors, fixtures, handrails, doors and
doorknobs, sinks, toilets, counters, etc.
- Complete daily/weekly/biweekly/monthly:
/annual cleaning routines including spot
cleaning, high/ low dusting, carbolize beds,
isolation cleaning and discharge cleaning
routines.
What You Will Need:
- Grade 12 or equivalent: :
- Paste-coating in commercial or health-care:
care setting would be an asset plus on-the-
job orientation and training of up to 3
months.
- Completed police record check )
vulnerable sector screening
