TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Based on specific site postings, report all instances of violence reported by hospital staff, patients, or visitors.
- Patrol the interior and exterior of the facility, preventing unauthorized entry, and direct individuals attempting to enter the facility in a controlled manner.
- While on patrol, he monitors risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical issues, hazardous materials and additional breaches of security.
- 2 way radio use and professionalism.
- Respond to alarms and call for help.
- Monitoring situations, cameras, and property.
- Under all circumstances, communicate in a truthful and receptive manner as well as provide information about the facility as requested by the personnel.
- Effective relationships with key stakeholders and visitors are achieved through courteous, respectful relations, perceptible from their point of view.
- Monitor and screen visitors in a professional manner to grant access to the facility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 diploma plus some post secondary education in a law enforcement/security program would be an asset.

- Clear letter of conduct
- First aid would be considered an asset. '
$18.50/hour
