Position Details:

To achieve positive sales growth in a specific geographical or vertical market, Account Managers must have an average of 40-45 current accounts and $2 million dollars annually. They will use Grainger's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce, to manage all business activities on premise and daily report to the District Sales Manager.

You Will:

  • Acquire knowledge of client objectives and remain responsive to changing client demands.
  • Knowledgeable about market data and readily available resources, allowing for swift response to consumer business changes.
  • Managed inventory tasks to enhance customer knowledge, increase contact within the customer base, and boost sales.
  • Gain insight into Grainger's Value Proposition by offering suggestions to boost sales. Note:
  • Implement account penetration strategies that involve frequent reviews of businesses to target critical customers and increase sales.

Job Requirements:

You Have:

  • Experience in both direct sales and internal sales of marketing, equivalent to two years of experience. Please?
  • Opportunity management and customer planning based on sales forecasting.
  • Each customer within the market that is aligned requires a minimum of one monthly trip, or more frequently if it is necessary.
  • The ability to maintain a balance between planning and development processes is crucial for increasing market revenue through process discipline and execution.
  • Hence, they possess the ability to employ sales tactics to identify and resolve customer grievances and develop appropriate responses.
  • A High School diploma or GED (with a preference given to post secondary education) is required.
