Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Development Planning, as a member of the Development Planning division, you will be responsible for general assistance to the division, including but not limited to supporting the planning application process, preparing background research and statistical analysis, along with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· You are currently enrolled in a full-time Urban Planning program or related discipline.

· Pervious work experience in Planning or a related discipline will be considered an asset.

· You must possess proficiency in MS Office Suite, good research, communication, customer service and organizational skills.

· Ability to deal courteously and effectively with all levels of staff and the general public.

· Flexibility is required to work evenings and weekends on occasion.

· You must have a reliable vehicle and possess a Class “G” license.

Successful applicants to this position will be required to provide a Police Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to the Town prior to their start date at the applicants’ own cost.
