Compugen is seeking a Senior Deskside Technician t o troubleshoot, repair, install, and upgrade Computer desktops, workstations, network devices, printers, peripherals as well as associated operating systems, and application software at the desktop level. This will be for an initial 6 month contract working on-site.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience while maintaining contractual service levels
  • Function as a team leader on project assignments, as required
  • Utilize your experience, and knowledge for customer documentation development
  • Perform hardware warranty, and non-warranty repairs of desktops, notebooks, servers and printers
  • Perform imaging, and re-imaging of workstation operating systems and applications
  • Provide end-user support, and assistance on various operating systems and applications
  • Execute complex moves, adds and changes of computer equipment
  • Complete complex hardware and/or software upgrades to existing equipment
  • Perform network connections for desktops and printers
  • Support, and service customers with POS, Switches, Routers and Wi-Fi
  • Maintain major vendor certifications (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Lexmark, Xerox, etc.) as well as Comptia A+ certifications
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications
  • Experience with current Operating Systems Windows 10/11 iOS, Android
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and Intune
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance.
  • A+ Certification is required.
  • Experience with Tier 1 vendors (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Lexmark, Xerox, etc.)
  • Experience with desktops, laptops, mobile devices, Servers, Switches, Routers and Wi-Fi
  • SQL Query basic understanding
  • Knowledge of encryption – (MBAM) and its importance
  • Experience with PowerShell
  • Asset Tagging Experience
  • Server Upgrades – RDP
  • Office 365 Knowledge
  • ServiceNow ticketing Tool
  • Enterprise Wide Printer Management
  • Meeting Room Technology and Troubleshooting (TEAMS) and or others.
  • Patch Management Experience
  • Experience with Laptop hardware eg. RAM Upgrade, cracked screen replacement, internal battery replacement, keyboard replacement.
  • Setting up Workstations – Laptops and Monitors
  • Packaging Experience is an Asset (Admin Studio)
  • RSA / FORITNET VPN Experience
  • Strong English written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take direction, and follow practices and procedures, consistently and accurately
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Working Conditions
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00-15:00 or 12:00 – 20:00pm
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs independently
