This competition is to fill (1) < Perm> position, working <75> hours biweekly.

The Records Assistant provides supports in the maintenance of records for the Department of Education. Reporting to the Departmental Records Officer, this position is responsible for the daily operational and administrative functions of the Records unit which includes organizing, indexing and inputting record information into a database. This position assists in providing information to departmental requests.

Essential Qualifications

  • Coursework in records management or relevant coursework
  • Recent records management experience, preferably in a government setting
  • Experience administering various policies and procedures

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Job Requirements:

  • This position works onsite in an office environment and often is required to lift up to 25lbs.
