The Provincial Capital Commission requires a highly skilled and energetic individual for the position of Manager, Corporate Services.
The Provincial Capital Commission’s strategic focus is to enhance the quality of life in the Capital City by creating community partnerships, promoting visitor experiences, and providing stewardship of the land and assets managed by the Provincial Capital Commission.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, the successful candidate will be a highly motivated, results-oriented individual who can provide advice, analysis, and leadership on a range of strategic and legislative issues. This individual will have two direct reports and lead the development of innovative solutions to complex problems and connect them to the Commission’s (and government’s) broader priorities.
You will be primarily responsible for:
- Leading the development of service level agreements and memoranda of understanding (MOU) with PCC service partners.
- Overseeing the PCC’s safety program by leading the renewal of the PCC’s OH&S program, improve and update the safety policy, train managers and employees on the PCC safety procedures, undertake safety audits, and compile safety reports.
- Providing human resources support to the PCC divisions while ensuring the highest level of compliance with Government of Saskatchewan Human Resources Manual and collective bargaining agreements.
- Leading the PCC policy renewal initiative which includes reviewing and standardizing the PCC policies, processes and records and information management systems and improving organizational effectiveness in data organization and access.
- Helping the Director of Finance and Corporate Services in developing PCC’s strategic and business plans while ensuring proper accountability of the deliverables, tracking of progress, and reporting on the results.
- Coordinating and providing timely responses to the Freedom of Information (FOI) requests while ensuring compliance with The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP).
- PCC wide standardization to create common policies, processes and templates while respecting diverse branch and client needs.
- Management of PCC contracts by providing analysis of current and future contracts generated by the PCC, ensuring service contracts align with PCC cost recovery strategy and developing contract validation and approval processes.
