New Job Information Management Analyst In Saskatchewan

The Ministry of Immigration and Career Training's Legislative and Contract Services (LCS) Unit is seeking an Information Management Analyst to join the Corporate Services team. Reporting to the Manager, Legislative and Contract Services, the successful candidate will have responsibility to:

• provide support services for contracts and Cabinet items by maintaining and ensuring adherence to the Ministry’s and Government of Saskatchewan's principles, policies and procedures;
• process, review and apply legislation to redact Freedom and Information requests and records;
• provide advice on privacy issues and support reporting; and
• coordinate Records Information Management by applying policies, guidelines, and procedures related to the collection, creation, storage, access, retention and disposal of information.

To be successful in this position, you will require knowledge of applicable acts, and regulations that govern contracts and Freedom of Information and Privacy. You will also require knowledge of Government of Saskatchewan processes and qualitative and quantitative research methodologies in order to conduct research to make accurate and timely decisions and recommendations on a variety of issues.

Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be gained through completion of an under-graduate degree in public/business administration with a focus on law or a related field, and related experience; or a combination of related education and experience.
