- Process goods receiving transactions in SAP
- Create digital media content and maintain the Section Google site as per Branch and Section procedures
- Work with Corporate Risk, Insurance and area inspectors to process citizen and police claims
- Support other Administrative Clerks to process Councillor Inquiries in POSSE
- Support OH&S clerical requirements for the section, such as entering data into the safety data management system (SDMS) and generating reports, updating safety boards and compiling safety audit documentation
- Process employee Prescription Eyewear requests
- Monitor and update employee lists, contact lists and mailing lists (BSA) in Google Sheets
- General data entry support as requested by Supervisors
- Support Program Supervisors with Onboarding and Offboarding of temporary employees
- Monitor contract renewals, amendments, extensions, addition of funds as required by business area
- Organize meetings as directed and taking minutes
- Document management for section Standard Operating Procedures and documents requiring engineering authentication
- Support monthly program status reporting, which might include pulling reports and manipulating data from SAP, POSSE or other corporate applications
- Complete material movement transactions in SAP
- Process Work Orders and Internal Notifications for programs within the section in SAP
- Support Program Supervisors with material ordering as needed
- Formatting and document management
- Process stationery and inventory supply requests
- Monitor and distribute stationary inventory as needed
- Support and participate in Parks and Roads Services projects and initiatives as required
- Provide support and back-up to other Administrative Clerks within the Section
- Prepare relevant memos
- Perform other related duties as required
- High School Diploma, including business subjects with an emphasis on general office practices, or completion of an office administration certificate (equivalencies may be considered)
- 2 years’ progressively responsible administrative experience
- Strong knowledge of software and databases including Google products, SAP ECC,SAP ARIBA, SDMS, POSSE, Google Suite
- Demonstrated diversified experience in, data entry, database administration, procedure creation, document management and customer service experience
- Knowledge of and experience performing goods receivable and/or purchasing duties
- Excellent skills with grammar, punctuation, and spelling, with a high level of accuracy, ensuring documents conform to City of Edmonton formats
- Ability to make independent decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Proven ability to effectively handle sensitive information using discretion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with a focus on balancing competing requirements within the various units and ensuring service is delivered accordingly
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple and changing priorities

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
The weekly hours of work for this position are currently under review and may change at a future time. Any changes will be made in accordance with the City of Edmonton/Civic Service Union 52 collective agreement and the incumbent will be notified in advance.
Salary: $22.361 - $27.765 (Hourly)
